Dam Batak – located on 4 km from the town of Batak and 1108 m. above the sea level. With its 22 sq. km. the dam is the sixth largest dam in Bulgaria. On the West Coast is situated The mountain resort of Tsigov Chark, and on the other side – Danoto mountain resort, near The mountain resort of St. Constantine. In July and August around the dam there are numerous land camps. The road through the gorge to the town of Batak is recently refurbished and allows quick access to Eco camping Batak, on which you can find more comforts – electricity, drinking water, showers and a restaurant.
