Shiroka Polyana Dam

Shiroka Polyana Dam – the rugged terrain at the bottom of the dam makes the illusion that it is composed of numerous small dams with separate walls. The unique shape in the heart of a pine forest ranks the dam as the most beautiful in the Western Rhodopes. It is located 1500 m above sea level, 30 km from the town of Batak. The huge fish wealth and lack of hotels near the reservoir make it an even more attractive place for camping and outdoor recreation. There is a road to the dam.
